ISO-Turn – Double sided 80° negative trigon turning insert with 6 cutting edges – A pressed insert for facing and straight turning. For semi-finishing and finishing applications. Low cutting forces due to very sharp edge and positive rake. Grade IC9150 (CVD TiAlN+Al203+TiN coating) – A hard substrate with a cobalt enriched layer, CVD coated. Excellent thermal stability and resistance to chipping and plastic deformation. Recommended for high speed machining of steel at stable conditions.
