ISO-Turn – Double sided 55° negative rhombic turning insert with 4 cutting edges – A pressed insert for facing and profile turning. Positive rake angle that varies along the edge to negative in order to prevent chipping. Special design reduces cratering. Used for carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel and high temp alloys. Grade IC8250 (CVD TiCN+Al203+TiN coating) – A tough substrate with a cobalt enriched layer combined with multi-layer CVD coating. Recommended for general use machining of steel in a wide range of conditions, featuring high toughness and wear resistance.
